Meonstoke Tennis Court celebrates its eigth year of use!

Since that frosty morning in December 2016 when our court opened its gates for the first time, our membership has gone from strength to strength. Originally, we had anticipated a membership of about 40 families and we met our target. However, we never anticipated that it would become the roaring success it has become. We now have over 80+ families enjoying the court, that’s not 80 members that’s 80 households throughout the local area, exceeding our anticipated membership by over 100%.

We are still enrolling new members but are aware that the increasing number of members means the court is approaching its capacity. For this reason, we have decided to put specific entry criteria for new applicants.

• All in the parishes of Meonstoke, Exton, Corhampton and Droxford
• Families whose children attend Meonstoke and Droxford Schools
• Individuals who want to play on a regular basis with an existing local member, but are not from the immediate surrounding area (with the committee’s approval)

All other applications will go on a waiting list.

The membership cost for 2024 will be £33 per family/household and all income goes towards the running and eventual replacement of the court, which is run on a not-for-profit basis, by members of the community, for the community. We are always interested in hearing members’ views on how the club should operate and evolve, so please get in touch if you wish to shape the future of our club.

Re-enrolments for 2024 will be due on the 1^st January 2024 and we would be grateful if payments could be made promptly to ensure the process is not drawn out!

If you are re-enrolling there is no need to update your original enrolment form, but please let us know if any of your details have changed. New members will have to fill out an enrolment form which can be found below with the policies and rules.
